Nepalese Association for Clinical Chemistry (NACC) is an international, non-political, non-profit organization for clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. NACC has a wide array of roles that include
- community awareness at national and international level
- Conducting and facilitating research in collaboration with other national and international organizations,
- supporting clinical laboratory scientists through scientific and educational endeavor, and
- providing a series of congresses, conferences and focused meetings in order for laboratory medicine specialists to meet and present original findings and best practice.
Aims and objectives of NACC
1.NACC is a scientific and medical professional organization committed to foster awareness, emphasizing importance of clinical chemistry for the welfare of general public health.
2.It aims to formulate its primary objectives by conducting general meetings, conference, congress, symposia and continued medical educations.
3.It seeks to encourage basic, applied and laboratory research by collaborating with various public and private institution, nationwide and internationally.
4.The grant committee is designed to provide project, research, thesis and travel grant to the eligible candidates.
5.Evaluate and recommend appropriate laboratory instruments, reagents and test protocol.
6.Organize Quality Assessment and Good Laboratory Practice program to ensure quality among clinical chemistry laboratories.
7.Conduct and supervise workshop, training program and invited lecture to upgrade professional skills and knowledge of clinical chemists.
8.Release monthly news bulletin dedicated to achievement and service of NACC and publish scholarly journals.
9.Develop enduring relationship with international organizations in the field of clinical chemistry like IFCC, AACC, APFCB, and ACBI.
10.Confer award and honor to the distinguished member providing substantial contribution in the field of clinical chemistry in Nepal. Provide honorary membership to the eminent national and international figures.
