Aims & Objectives of NACC
- To increase awareness about the recent advances and importance of clinical chemistry among general people, health practitioners, policy makers and laboratory medicine professionals.
- To represent, safeguard and uplift the professional right of Nepalese clinical chemists.
- To provide expert advice and manpower assistance to the governmental and non-governmental organizations, universities and regulatory bodies to formulate new policies, guidelines for regulating clinical chemistry/lab medicine practices in Nepal.
- To co-ordinate with concerned university as per necessity for the development of clinical chemistry curriculum, examination system and valuation, function and duties of designated professionals and their assessment.
- To organize and operate assemblies, conferences, meetings, symposiums and CMEs.
- To promote research culture and activities in clinical chemistry in coordination with various institutions, universities and seek grants / funding to achieve these objectives.
- To grant honorary membership to national and international people/scholars making remarkable contribution for development and promotion of the clinical chemistry subject.
- To organize suitable trainings/workshops for refining skills and knowledge of clinical chemists.
- To publish news bulletins and journals to attain the objectives of the Association.
- To represent and coordinate with national and international organizations like IFCC, APFCB, ADLM, AACB,ACBI etc and to organize invited lectures from foreign scholars.
