About NACC
Nepalese Association for Clinical Chemistry (NACC) is a Non-Governmental organization established by more than two hundred professionals (MD/MSc/DM/PhD Post graduate students in Biochemistry) working in the field of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, health care set-ups, academics and research. The NACC ad-hoc committee had its first national gathering on 4th July 2013 in Kathmandu, Nepal. After a year-long effort, the first professional body of Nepalese clinical chemists was formally registered by the government of Nepal on 25th February, 2014 (2070/11/13) in District Administration Office, Kathmandu.
NACC is a budding professional organization established with the novel aim of ensuring better health of Nepalese people through prudent practice in laboratory medicine in addition to safe-guarding professional rights, quality upgrading and continuing laboratory medicine education of Nepalese clinical chemists. NACC believes in bringing clinical chemistry professionals together to strengthen ongoing research and practice in clinical chemistry and creating collaborative environment for a sustainable research and development.
